About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager of Finance & Technology, you'll be given a wide range of responsibility within a complex environment, with the chance to really progress your career.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Preparation & analysis of monthly management reporting including relevant variance analysis.
- Maintenance and integrity of standard product costing across all product lines at the site.
- Continuous evaluation of product/portfolio/site profitability.
- Co-ordinating & preparation of forecasts and annual budgets.
- Partnering with the business to assess the financial viability of new products and major capital projects.
- Management and reporting of product inventory.
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders at all levels from manufacturing to senior management.
Skills and experience:
- CAANZ Member or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with financial modelling, statistical analysis and financial forecasting
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a wider team
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to pick up new software quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Forward thinking, motivated and proactive attitude is a must!
