We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a high-profile client on a 3 temporary assignment based in the Selwyn district. With an ASAP start, we are looking for someone who can hit the "ground running" in this busy and pivotal role!


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Undertake Needs Analysis for procurement initiatives
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Negotiate purchase price, payment terms, lead times
  • Review contacts
  • Negotiate and finalise documentation
  • Prepare and present recommendations


Skills & Experience

  • A qualification in Business, supply chain or procurement
  • Membership of a recognised Procurement or Supply Chain Industry body, ideally MCIPS
  • 2 - 5 + years' experience with Procurement or Category Management
  • Proven negotiation and contract management experience
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and commercial relationship building experience
  • Strong written and presentation skills
